GSC Report on current activities 2025 – 2

In the second quarter 2025 GSC has been involved in the following activities and projects:

• Coordinating of the FIDE Circuit 2025 project

• Preparing and holding meetings with (potential) partners and sponsors – Freedom Finance, Scheinberg family, Google, WR Group, Goldman Sachs, Mahindra, Sony Sports, Nagra, NRK, Norway Chess, ChessBase India, Nebius, IAS/Canias and others

• Supervising preparations for the Women’s GP 2024-25 tournaments (legs 5-6)

• Communicating with participants and officials of the Women’s GP 2024-25 (legs 5-6)

• Negotiating with potential organisers of the Candidates and Match 2026 and Women’s Grand Prix Series 2026-27

• Negotiating with the Freestyle Chess

• Conducting a poll among top players on the Armageddon game format

• Issuing the lists of qualified players for the Grand Swiss and WGS 2025

• Supervising qualifiers and issuing the lists of qualified players for the Women’s World Cup 2025

• Coordinating preparations for the Women’s World Cup 2025

• Organising and holding the World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships 2025
