GSC Report on current activities 2026 – 3

In the third quarter 2026, GSC has been involved in the following activities and projects:

• Coordinating of the FIDE Circuit and Women’s Circuit 2026 projects

• Preparing and holding meetings with (potential) partners and sponsors – Freedom Finance, Scheinberg family, Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort Google, Korinthia Group, Mahindra, NRK, ChessBase India, Total Sports, Salesforce and others

• Negotiating with potential organisers of the Women’s Grand Prix Series 2026-27

• Negotiating with Norway Chess regarding the Total Chess project

• Issuing the Regulations for the World Championship Match 2026

• Conducting Inspections and organising the FIDE World Championship Match 2026

• Negotiating with P11 regarding the FIDE World Championship Match 2026

• Negotiating and reaching an agreement with Chess.com

• Issuing the Regulations for the World Cup / Women’s World Cup 2027

• Registering Federations’ requests for DGT boards to be distributed after the Olympiad 2026

• Implementing the Open Aid Project 2026: drafting agreements and communicating with the organisers

• Negotiating with potential organisers of the World Rapid & Blitz 2026
