In the third quarter 2023 GSC has been involved in the following activities and projects:
- Preparation and holding of the World Cups 2023
- Preparation and holding of the World Rapid Team Championship 2023
- Preparation of the World Women’s Team Championship 2023
- Negotiations with potential Organisers of the World Rapid and Blitz 2023
- Selection, coordination and payment arrangements with Open tournaments granted FIDE Aid Packages 2023
- Coordination of the FIDE Circuit 2023 project
- Working in the “Rating deflation” and “Transfer” Task Force groups
- Preparation and holding meetings with (potential) partners and sponsors – Freedom Finance, WR Group, Coca-Cola, Mahindra, Ava Labs, Motiva and others
- Implementation of Chess NFT project
- Preparation of joint projects with chess.com
- Negotiations with IMG on World Championship cycle sponsoring
- Consulting on the Rapid&Blitz Manual for organisers
- Conducting a poll on Women’s Grand Prix Series format 2024-25
- Conducting a poll on Candidates Tournaments and World Championship Matches 2024 format
- Preparation of the Grand Swiss 2023
