In the third quarter 2024 GSC has been involved in the following activities and projects:
- Coordination and payment arrangements with Open tournaments granted FIDE Aid Packages 2024
- Coordination of the FIDE Circuit 2024 project and communication with top players on related issues
- Preparation and holding meetings with (potential) partners and sponsors – Freedom Finance, Scheinberg family, WR Group, NBC, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Brainrocket, Coca-Cola, Mahindra, Sony Sports, Nagra, NRK, ChessBase India and others
- Negotiations with potential organisers of Women’s GP 2024-25, World Cups 2025
- Preparing and holding the World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships 2024
- Issuing the Regulations for the Women’s World Cup 2025
- Coordinating preparation of the Women’s GP tournaments (legs 1 and 2)
- Issuing the Regulations for the World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2024
- Participating in holding the Chess Olympiad (operations and ceremonies)
- Conducting the live GSC meeting
- Preparing players’ assignments for WGP Tournaments 2025
- Conducting the poll on World Cup format
- Working with ACC on American Continental quotas for the World Cups 2025
- Preparing R&B 2024
- Preparing the World Championship Match 2024
