GSC Report on current activities 2025 -1

In the first quarter 2025 GSC has been involved in the following activities and projects:

• Accomplishing financial matters related to R&B 2024

• Accomplishing financial matters related to the World Championship Match 2024

• Coordination of the FIDE Circuit 2025 project

• Preparing and holding meetings with (potential) partners and sponsors – Freedom Finance, Scheinberg family, Google, WR Group, Goldman Sachs, Brainrocket, Mahindra, Sony Sports, Nagra, NRK, Norway Chess, ChessBase India, Nebius, IAS/Canias and others

• Supervising preparations for the Women’s GP 2024-25 tournaments (legs 3-6)

• Communication with participants and officials of the Women’s GP 2024-25

• Negotiating with the Freestyle Chess

• Preparing the Regulations for the Grand Swiss and WGS 2025

• Preparing the Regulations for the World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2025

• Negotiating with the sponsors of the World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships 2025

• Preparing the Regulations for the World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships 2025

• Organising the World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships 2025
