In the first quarter 2023 GSC is being involved in the following activities and projects:

• Drafting the Regulations for the World Championship & Women’s World Championship Matches 2023

• Drafting the Regulations for the World Team Rapid World Championship 2023

• Grand Swiss/Women’s Grand Swiss 2023 Regulations update

• Preparation of the World Championship Match 2023

• Coordination with the organisers and the participants of the Women’s GP Series 2022-23 Tournaments (Leg 3 in New Delhi and Leg 4 in Cyprus).

• Negotiations with the Organiser and preparation of the World Cups 2023

• Negotiations with the Organiser of the World Team Rapid World Championship 2023

• Negotiations with the Organiser of World Rapid and Blitz 2023

• Negotiations with potential Organisers of the Candidates Tournaments 2024

• Selection, coordination and payment arrangements with Open tournaments granted FIDE Aid Packages 2023

• Coordination of the FIDE Circuit 2023 project

• Working in the Transfer Task Force

• Preparation and holding meetings with (potential) partners and sponsors – Freedom Finance, WR Group, Coca-Cola, Mahindra, Ava Labs, Motiva and others

• Implementation of Chess NFT project

• Preparation of joint projects with chess.com

• Negotiations with IOC regarding inclusion of chess into Virtual Olympic Series 2022-23
