GSC Report on current activities 2025 – 3

In the third quarter 2025 GSC has been involved in the following activities and projects:
- Coordinating of the FIDE Circuit 2025 project
- Preparing and holding meetings with (potential) partners and sponsors – Freedom Finance, Scheinberg family, Google, WR Group, Goldman Sachs, Mahindra, NRK, Norway Chess, ChessBase India, Nebius, OpenAI and others
- Organising the Grand Swiss and Women’s Grand Swiss 2025
- Supervising preparations for the Women’s World Team Championship and communicating with the participating federations
- Issuing the lists of qualified players for the World Cup 2025
- Preparing the World Cup 2025
- Negotiating with potential organisers of the World Rapid & Blitz Championships 2026
- Negotiating with potential organisers of the Candidates and Match 2026 and Women’s Grand Prix Series 2026-27
- Preparing the World Rapid & Blitz Championships 2025
Working with QC on the concept and conducting a poll among top players on the Rating Reform
